My Fort Collins lesson studio is at 3761 South Mason Street, just south of Horsetooth Road. It’s a great location in newly-revitalized midtown and is easily reached by car, MAX (via Horsetooth Station), or the Mason Trail.

While here, you can stop downstairs at Boomer Music for instruments and Northern Colorado’s best selection of sheet music and books or you can grab a cup of coffee at Fort Collins Coffee House before your lesson.

Lesson Policies

Attendance:

  • Lessons are normally one-on-one. If you would like to book lessons for a group, please email me.
  • Recurring weekly lessons are either one hour or one half-hour per week. Single lessons are a minimum of one hour.
  • Weekly lessons are the same day and time each week. There are a few scheduled days off each year. A full calendar may be found here.
  • If you are unable to attend a weekly lesson for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible. We can plan what you need to practice and we may be able to find another time that works with our schedules.
  • Single lessons are booked for a specific day and time. Please be sure you will be available for the lesson before booking.
  • Please do not skip lessons because you haven’t practiced. We can always review previous lessons. so you still get a chance to play. It’s also a great opportunity to work on practice strategies.
  • If you are going to be late, please call or text me at (970) 682-4842. If you are more than 10 minutes late without notice I may assume you are not coming and leave or start the next lesson.

Payment:

  • Single lessons are $65 per hour.
  • Tuition for weekly lessons is $110 per month for half-hour or $220 per month for hour. This is a 10% savings over single lessons.
  • Payment for single lessons is due at the time the lesson is scheduled. Tuition for weekly lessons is due by the 1st lesson of each month.There is a $15 fee for late payments.
  • You may pay in person by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Online payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or PayPal.
  • You can drop weekly lessons at the end of any month and there is no cancellation fee. If possible, please give me at least a weeks notice before stopping lessons.
  • There are no refunds for lessons except in the case of my unscheduled absence.
  • If I am unable to teach a scheduled lesson I will refund the full amount of the single lesson payment or $30.00 per missed half-hour for monthly lessons.
