Handed a trumpet in sixth grade, Eric Ottem soon became grateful he wasn’t allowed to play drums. Half a century later, Eric has at least fifty trumpets, unable to commit to just one. He is committed to songs that crackled on radios decades before his birth, songs resurrected by the jazz combos of the 50s and 60s, where Eric’s musical soul resides.
