Weekly Lessons Weekly lessons are $150 per month for half-hours, $300 per month for hours. There are a total of 15 lessons in each 4 month term (January through April, May through August, and September through December). The total cost of the 15 lessons is divided evenly across the 4 month term. This keeps the monthly payment consistent instead of changing depending on the number of weeks. Weekly lessons work out to $80 per hour ($40 per half-hour), a discount of 20% off the single lesson price. All lessons in Longmont are billed by Guitars, Etc. and follow their policies. Single Lessons Single lessons in Fort Collins or online are $100 per booked hour. There are no single lessons at Guitars, Etc. Current weekly Fort Collins or online students may book additional single lessons for $80 per hour ($40 per half-hour). Payment Billing for lessons at Guitars, etc. is handled by the store and follows their policies. Payment for single lessons is due in full when the lesson is scheduled. Tuition for weekly lessons is invoiced on the 25th of each month for the upcoming month (e.g. September is invoiced on August 25th). Tuition for weekly lessons is due within 10 days of the invoice date. A $15 late fee will be added to overdue invoices. You will be emailed an invoice for lessons. You may pay online by card or eCheck. I also accept payment in-person by cash or check. You can stop weekly lessons at the end of any month and there is no cancellation fee. If possible, please let me know at least two weeks before dropping lessons. All sales are final and there are no refunds for missed lessons. Scheduling Lessons are available at my studios or online. I normally teach one-on-one. If you would like to book a group, please email me. Lessons are booked for a specific date and time. Missed lessons do not transfer or credit forward so please be sure of your availability before booking. I book in multiples of 30 minutes. I do not currently offer 45 minute lessons. Weekly lessons spots are always the same day and time. There are a few weeks off each year, you can check the calendar for the current schedule. I am in US Mountain time and Colorado observes Daylight Savings Time. We vary between UTC-7:00 and UTC-6:00 depending on the time of year. Double check with me if you're booking from another time zone. Attendance Please be on time. If you are going to be late, please text or call (970) 682-4842. If you are more than 10 minutes late without notice, it is considered a no-show and I may leave or start the next lesson. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a lesson. Rescheduling may sometimes be an option, depending on schedules. If a lesson cannot be rescheduled for the same week, I will send a recorded lesson or let you know what to practice instead. Please do not skip lessons because you haven’t practiced. We can always review and it’s a great opportunity to work on practice strategies. There are no refunds for lessons unless I miss a scheduled lesson and we are unable to reschedule. Online Online lessons work best for older students with playing experience. Beginner and pre-high school students must take in person. You will receive a unique meeting code for your lessons. We'll use the same code each week. The lesson's meeting opens at your start time. Weather If you feel travel conditions are unsafe, please call or text me at (970) 682-4842. We can do an online or recorded lesson instead. If the store is closed, all lessons will be recorded or online. I will normally also move lessons online if Fort Collins or Longmont are on accident alert. I’ll let you know if lessons are moved online by 10:00am via text or email. I may also make the change later in the day if the weather changes suddenly. Illness and Injury Pain while playing an instrument is bad. If you experience pain while playing, stop and see a doctor as soon as possible. If you need to cancel due to illness or injury, please contact me and we will switch to a recorded or online lesson instead. Please do not risk your and your fellow students’ health by coming to the studio while you are ill. If I believe a student is contagious or too sick or injured to play, I will send them home immediately. If I am sick, we will switch to either an online or recorded lesson. I have read and agree to these terms and conditions Δ
